One woman injured in Grinnell two-vehicle collision

A two-vehicle collision occurred in the 600 block of U.S. Highway 6 near Grinnell in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10 and resulted in one woman getting injured.

The victim was identified as a 63-year-old woman who was a resident of Ladora in Iowa County.

The Grinnell Fire Department, along with Midwest Ambulance, responded to the scene of the accident, helping with the transport of the woman who sustained critical injuries during the incident. She was taken to Grinnell Regional Medical Center for immediate medical attention. A Mercy Hospital medical helicopter was requested at the scene of the accident but was re-routed at the hospital.
